My journey started in 1996 in a hotel in Dublin working as a receptionist. I loved every bit of being part of a team and the buzz around the hotel was intoxicating. Immediately, I knew id found the industry where I would spend my career. Having qualified in science, this was a far cry from where I thought id be!
Fast forward to 2003. I’d gained loads of experience working in America and in smaller hotels here in Ireland. I decided it was time to go out on my own. Dublin Accommodation Services was established in June 2003 in the attic of my home in Dublin. It was instantly successful and too busy to manage alone, so I began recruiting staff as the business grew. Eventually we all moved to bigger purpose built premises and began to lease Hotel properties both in Ireland and in the UK with a staff of over 400 at the peak.
In 2021, I decided the time was right to purchase Clifden Guesthouse and began the process of buying the property from Mr & Mrs Lalor who had entrusted it to us in 2013.
Clifden Guesthouse is a charming and centrally located Guesthouse in Dublin, Ireland, offering visitors a blend of Georgian elegance and modern comfort. Situated close to the top of O’Connell Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic thoroughfares, the Guesthouse provides easy access to many of the city’s main attractions, including the Gate Theatre, Trinity College, The Guinness Brewery, Croke Park, and the historic General Post Office.
It is also close to The Mater, Temple Street and Rotunda Hospitals, Belvedere college SJ and The Hugh Lane gallery.
The wonderful old building is being lovingly restored and rejuvenated with the addition of rooms in the basement most recently. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

This small and simple room consists of a single bed with en suite bathroom and offers everything required for a comfortable stay for one person. We offer Satellite TV, Wi-Fi Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
All Twin Rooms have 2 single beds for 2 persons and en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Tea/Coffee making facilities and Hairdryer.
Our triple rooms have a double and single or 3 single beds (You should state your preferred bed configuration at the time of booking. Please note that while we will do our best to meet your requirements special requests cannot be guaranteed).
Our Quad Rooms are an excellent choice for families and groups alike and can accommodate up to 4 adults ( All of our quad rooms have a double bed and two single beds ).
